RE: CAGNY-Local 66 October 1, 2026 Rate Increase Allocations
Pursuant to the CAGNY-General Laborers Local 66 (Local 66) collective bargaining
agreement, all Local 66-represented employees received a $3.10 rate increase effective July 1, 2026.
$1.00 of that increase was earmarked to create a Market Recovery Target Fund, but the Union elected
to defer that $1 portion of the increase until October 1st. (See the paragraph and footnote highlighted
below taken from Memo #11 regarding the July1st increase).
Attached are the October 1st wages and benefits now including the $1.00 deferred
increase into the newly created Target Fund. PLEASE NOTE – this is a taxable item and must be
added to wages first then taxed and sent with the other benefit fund contributions. Please also note
that the Union is increasing the employee-paid Dues Check-off to $3.68. Attached you will find a
notice from Local 66 detailing these allocations; attached as well is a CAGNY-generated spreadsheet
showing the same. This information will also be posted to the CAGNY website
(www.cagnyonline.com).
Pursuant to the CAGNY-General Laborers Local 66 (Local 66) collective bargaining
agreement, all classifications of Local 66-represented employees (foreperson, assistant foreperson,
joumeyperson, apprentice) are scheduled to receive a $3.10’ rate increase effective July 1, 2026.
Attached you will find a notice from Local 66 indicating the allocations of $2.10 of the increase for
the period July 1st through September 30th. Attached as well is a CAGNY-generated spreadsheet
indicating the same; this information will also be posted to the CAGNY website
(www.cagnyonline.com).
PLEASE NOTE THAT EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2026, THE CAGNY IAF
CONTRIBUTION RATE WILL REMAIN AT $1.40 PER HOUR FOR ALL LOCAL 66-
REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES.
Please make these changes to your payroll systems effective October 1, 2026 and call if
you have any questions.
1 The parties agreed to establish a Market Recovery Target Fund, into which $1.00 ofthe$3.10 July l a increase will be allocated
upon membership approval of the Target Fund at a special convention. A 90-day freeze has been placed on designating allocation
of $1.00 of the $3.10 increase (essentially making this a $2.10 rate increase until further notification by the union).
