Re: Local Union Nos. 40 and 361 CBA Rates
Effective: July 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Please be advised of the following economic changes effective July 1, 2026, through and including December 31, 2026, pursuant to the current collective bargaining agreement between Allied Building Metal Industries, Inc., and Local Union Nos. 40 and 361.
Journeyperson; Foreperson
The wage rates and trust fund contribution rates for Locals 40 and 361 Journeymen and Foremen for the period July 1, 2026, through and including December 31, 2026, shall be as follows:
Wage Rates
Journeyman: $59.45/hour*
Foreman: $62.45/hour*
Trust Fund Contributions
Pension Fund: $17.11/hour
Health Fund: $17.07/hour
Annuity Fund: $18.50/hour
Topping Out Fund: $17.20/hour
Vacation Fund: $24.17/hour*
JAC Fund: $0.58/hour
JAC Tech. & Certification $0.25/hour
IMPACT: $0.37/hour
Intl. Organizing Fund: $0.22/hour*
The contribution to the Industry Promotion Fund (that is, The Steel Institute of New York) shall be $.30/hour for each Local 40 and 361 Journeyman and Foreman employee.

The working assessment for Local 40 Journeymen and Foremen shall be $2.68/hour (4.25% of the Journeyman’s wage rate plus $.15 [i.e., 4.25% x $59.45 = $2.53 + $.15 = $2.68]), which is to be deducted from wages.
The working assessment for Local 361 Journeymen and Foremen shall be $3.33/hour (4.50% of the Journeyman’s wage rate plus $.65 [i.e., 4.50% x $59.45 = $2.68 + $.65 = $3.33]), which is to be deducted from wages.

Apprentices
The wage rates and trust fund contribution rates for Locals 40 and 361 Apprentice iron workers for the period July 1, 2026, through and including December 31, 2026, shall be as follows:

Probationary Apprentice
(Months 1 through 6): $30.87/hour*
Apprentice
(Months 7 through 18): $31.47/hour*
Apprentice
(Month 19 forward): $32.08/hour*
Trust Fund Contributions
Pension Fund: $17.11/hour
Health Fund: $17.07/hour
Annuity Fund: $8.89/hour
Topping Out Fund: $9.19/hour
Vacation Fund: $12.91/hour*
JAC Fund: $0.58/hour
JAC Tech. & Certification $0.25/hour
IMPACT: $0.37 /hour
Intl. Organizing Fund: $0.22/hour*
The contribution to the Industry Promotion Fund (that is, The Steel Institute of New York) shall be $.30/hour for each Local 40 and 361 Apprentice iron worker.
The working assessment for Local 40 Apprentice iron workers shall be $1.46/hour (4.25% of the Probationary Apprentice wage rate plus $.15 [i.e., 4.25% x $30.87 = $1.31 + $.15 = $1.46]), which is to be deducted from wages.
The working assessment for Local 361 Apprentice iron workers shall be $2.19/hour ($1.80 + .39 [4.50% x $8.72 (total wage increase since 7/1/2010]), which is to be deducted from wages.
