Effective: January 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026
Please be advised of the following economic changes effective January 1, 2026, through and including June 30, 2026, pursuant to the current collective bargaining agreement between Allied Building Metal Industries, Inc., and Iron Workers Local Union No. 580.
JOURNEYMAN; FOREMAN
The wage rate and trust fund contribution rates for Local 580 Journeymen and Foremen for the period January 1, 2026, through and including June 30, 2026, shall be as follows:
Wage Rates
Journeyman: $48.40 /hour*
Foreman: $49.85/hour*
Trust Fund Contribution Rates
Benefit (Vacation) Fund: $15.51/hour*
Annuity Fund: $17.42/hour
Pension Fund: $15.34/hour
Supplemental Benefit: $.60/hour
Insurance Fund: $18.10/hour
Apprentice-Journeyman
Educational Fund: $1.27/hour
Scholarship Fund: $.25/hour
IMPACT: $.30/hour
Labor Management Fund: $.25/hour
Intl. Organizing Fund: $.18/hour*
The contribution to the Ornamental Metal Institute of New York shall be $.35/hour for each Journeyman and Foreman employee.

The Working Assessment will be $1.45/hour, which shall be deducted from the wages of each Journeyman and Foreman employee.

APPRENTICES
The wage rate and trust fund contribution rates for Local 580 apprentice iron workers for the period January 1, 2026, through and including June 30, 2026, shall be as follows:

Apprentice (Year 1): $26.40*
Apprentice (Year 2): $28.92*
Apprentice (Year 3): $31.30*
Apprentice (Year 4): $34.95*
Trust Fund Contribution Rates
Apprentice (Year 1):
Benefit (Vacation) Fund: $2.00/hour*
Annuity Fund: $3.00/hour
Pension Fund: $4.99/hour
Insurance Fund: $6.00/hour
IMPACT: $.30/hour
Intl. Organizing Fund: $.18/hour*
There shall be no contribution to The Ornamental Metal Institute of New York for first-year apprentice iron workers. Moreover, there shall be no Working Assessment deduction made from the wages of first-year apprentice iron workers.
Apprentice (Year 2):
Benefit (Vacation) Fund: $2.00/hour*
Annuity Fund: $3.00/hour
Pension Fund: $5.99/hour
Insurance Fund: $7.00/hour
IMPACT: $.30/hour
Intl. Organizing Fund: $.18/hour*
There shall be no contribution made to the Ornamental Metal Institute of New York for secondyear apprentice iron workers. Moreover, there shall be no Working Assessment deduction made from the wages of second-year apprentice iron workers.

There shall be no contribution made to the Ornamental Metal Institute of New York for fourth-year apprentice iron workers. Moreover, there shall be no Working Assessment deduction made from the wages of fourth-year apprentice iron workers.

PROBATIONARY IRON WORKERS (“PRE-APPRENTICES”)
The wage rate and trust fund contribution rates for Local 580 probationary iron workers for the period January 1, 2026, through and including June 30, 2026, shall be as follows:

Probationary Iron Worker: $22.55/hour*
Trust Fund Contribution Rates
Benefit (Vacation) Fund: $1.00/hour*
Annuity Fund: $2.00/hour
Pension Fund: $0.00/hour
Insurance Fund: $5.00/hour

Intl. Organizing Fund: $0.18/hour*
There shall be no contribution to the Ornamental Metal Institute of New York for probationary iron workers. Moreover, there shall be no Working Assessment deduction made from the wages of probationary iron workers.
