| RE: | January 1, 2024 MTDC Market Recovery/Build-It-Back PLA Rate Increase Allocations |
Pursuant to the attached notice from the Mason Tenders District Council,
effective January 1, 2024 there will be a $1.20 increase for all MTDC-represented
journeyperson and apprentice employees working under the Market Recovery/Build-ItBack PLA (if you recall, the Union combined the Outer Borough PLA and Market
Recovery PLA rates into this one new categoiy). Attached as well is a CAGNY-generated
spreadsheet; this information will also be posted to the CAGNY website
(www.cagnyonline.com).
We will also be sending under separate memos the January 1, 2024 rate
increases for the Interior Demolition Contractors Association (IDCA), the Independent
Interior Demolition Contractors, and the Independent Demo (Total Demo) Contractors.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024, THE
CAGNY IAF CONTRIBUTION WILL INCREASE TO $1.31 PER HOUR FORALL
MTDC-REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES.
Please make these changes to your payroll systems effective January 1, 2024
and call if you have any questions.

The holidays above are non-paid holidays for MlrDC-represented laborers.
HOURS OF WORK:
The MTDC-represented laborers work an eight (8) hour day, 40 hour work week.
OVERTIME RATE:
The MTDC-represented laborers shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half for any hours worked in excess of eight (8)
hours per day, 40 hours per week, and for work performed on Saturdays. Double time shal be paid for hours
worked on Sundays and Holidays.
