They are to be deducted and sent with other fringe benefit contributions to the Union Fund office. NORTH ATLANTIC STATES REGIONAL COUNCIL OF CARPENTERS – CON’T WORK HOURS: 7 or 8 hour day (employer’s option – see agreement for details) 35 or 40 hour week Request for optional 8 hour day must be received by Business Manager at least 48 hours prior to implementation. Approval by Business Manager will not be unreasonably withheld. OVERTIME: Wages: Time and a half for overtime hours Monday through Saturday and double time for Sundays and Holidays. Fringes: Paid at straight time for hours worked. OBSERVED HOLIDAYS: (NON PAID) New Year’s Day* Fourth of July Thanksgiving Day President’s Birthday Labor Day Christmas Day* Memorial Day Friday after Thanksgiving * On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve employees shall receive 1/2 day wages and fringe benefits without working. If worked, double time shall be paid. FLEXIBLE STARTING TIME: Between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
