Memorandum of Understanding Regarding 2017-2020 Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the Mason Tenders District Council and The Cement League
It is hereby agreed upon by and between the Mason Tenders District Council of Greater New York and Long Island (“MTDC”) and The Cement League (“TCL”) that for the period July 1. 2017 through June 30. 2020 the collective bargaining agreement between them (the “Agreement”) shall be the terms of the July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2017 collective bargaining agreement modified to provide the following wage and fringe benefit increases:
1, The wage and fringe benefit package for shall increase by $.95 effective July 1,
2017 and allocated as follows for Journeyworkers (Apprentices shall be compensated at rates regularly applicable under the Local 79 Program):

2. The wage and fringe benefit package shall be increased by $.95 per hour effective
January 1, 2018. to be allocated by the Union as set forth in Article VI. Section 1(a) of the Agreement.
3. The June 30, 2020 stated expiration date of the Agreement notwithstanding, the
Union shall inform the TCL if the Contractors Association of Greater New York (“CAGNY”) seeks to reopen its agreement with the Union (the “CAGNY CBA”) (procedures for which are set forth in the CAGNY CBA to occur, if at all, at the end of its second year). In such event, TCL shall may by written notice to the Union provided no later than June 1, 2019, elect to have the Agreement terminate at the same time, if any, as the CAGNY CBA.
