METALLIC LATHERS LOCAL 46 Hours: Shift Differential: Overtime : Fringe Benefits: Holidays: CONTRIBUTION PER HOUR Effective Date: Welfare Fund (Medical, Dental, Substance Abuse) Pension Vacation Annuity Apprenticeship Fund Scholarship Promotional The workday shall be seven (7) or eight (8) hours at the straight time hourly rate. The Employer must notify the Union two days prior to start of the changes in hours worked per day and it shall be for five consecutive working days. The Employer may start their Lathers at either 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM at the straight time rate. There will be no shift differential paid on the first shift if more than one shift is employed. The shift differential will remain $12/hour on the second and third shift for the first eight (8) hours if worked. There will be no pyramiding on overtime worked on second and third shifts. The time and one half (1.5x) rate will be against the base wage rate, not the shift differential. Overtime wages when worked Monday through Friday, as well as all day Saturday, shall be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2) rate. Sundays and Holidays – Double time. Fringe Benefits will be paid on hours worked, except for the annuity and vacation fund, which will be paid on hours paid. The Employer agrees to pay all fringe benefits on payday on the jobsite, together with the reporting form. All checks for Fringe Benefit payments shall be made payable to the Metal Lathers Funds. New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
